BCE Systems supports governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations with mission-critical systems across communications, security, broadcast and cybersecurity. This is our largest client group and the one our processes are built around.

The technology is rarely the hard part. Procurement is. Requirements are specified in advance and evaluated against documented criteria, vendors are assessed on registration and compliance before capability is even considered, and delivery is scrutinised. An organization that cannot evidence its registrations, produce a compliant bid or document a handover will not progress regardless of how good its engineering is.

We hold the registrations that sector requires (AGPO certification, UN Global Marketplace registration, D-U-N-S, SAM UEI, NCAGE and PPON among others), and we maintain a bids function precisely because compliance is where most technically capable suppliers fall out.

Much of this work happens where access is controlled, security clearance is required and logistics are slow. We plan for that: import and clearance timelines built into programmes honestly, personnel accredited for site access where required, and support arrangements that account for where equipment actually sits.
