About
About BCE Systems

BCE Systems designs, integrates, deploys and supports business-critical and mission-critical systems that help organizations inform audiences, connect operations and protect people, assets, infrastructure and information.
Who we are
BCE Systems is a private limited liability company delivering broadcast, telecommunications, public safety and cybersecurity systems for organizations operating in critical sectors. We support governmental, intergovernmental, non-governmental and enterprise clients with solutions that range from individual equipment requirements to integrated multi-subsystem projects.
Our work is centered on systems integration. We design, customize, deploy and support technologies so that separate components can operate together as one complete system. This allows clients to achieve operational, mission-critical and business-critical objectives with confidence.
The company was incorporated in Kenya on 12 July 2020 and maintains offices in Nairobi and Mogadishu.

Capacity, capability and experience
BCE Systems has built significant and reputable experience in-house and through established relationships with manufacturers, developers, distributors, contractors and complementary partners globally. This enables us to recommend suitable solutions, respond to diverse budget requirements and support projects across multiple technical domains.
Our teams and partner ecosystem are engaged on a need-to-need basis to align each project with appropriate technical resources, deployment capability, manufacturer expertise and support requirements.
Beyond Kenya and Somalia, where we hold physical presence, we have delivered to and supported organizations in Tanzania, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Mali, the Central African Republic, Chad, Moldova, India, South Korea and Bangladesh, among others.
Staff and facilities
BCE Systems is governed by a Board of Directors under a Chairperson, with executive responsibility held by the Chief Executive Officer. Operational management is organised into five functions: technical services, project management, sales, finance and accounts, and human resources and administration.
Within those functions we maintain the disciplines a systems integration project actually requires:
- Technical services and field engineering: installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault resolution
- Pre-sales engineering: requirement analysis, system design and configuration
- Project management: scheduling, coordination, site readiness and handover
- Bids and tendering: proposal development, compliance and documentation
- Procurement, logistics and stores, sourcing, import coordination and stock control
- Information technology services: internal systems, security and client platform support
- Customer support and customer success: warranty, RMA, service requests and account continuity
- Business development and marketing
Our staff receive continuous training to manufacturer and industry standards, so that the people specifying a system are the people qualified to support it. Where a project requires expertise or deployment capacity beyond our core team, we engage manufacturer, distributor and specialist partners on a project-by-project basis. That model is deliberate: it keeps the company lean while allowing us to scale into projects that would otherwise sit outside the reach of a business our size.
We have invested in technical systems, information and communication infrastructure, test and deployment resources and other assets required to support projects across two countries and a wider regional footprint. Operations run on a hybrid model, and we are reachable by telephone, email, live chat and WhatsApp.
Organograms, curricula vitae for named project personnel and project references are available to procurement and due diligence teams on request.
