Cookie Policy & Preferences
1. Scope
This policy explains how www.bce.systems uses cookies and similar technologies, including local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, and third-party embedded code. Where an identifier relates to an identifiable person, the Privacy and Data Protection Notice also applies.
2. Consent standard
Strictly necessary technologies operate because they are needed to deliver, secure, or remember a service or choice you request. All other categories remain off until you give a specific, informed, and freely given choice through Cookie Preferences.
The banner provides accessible choices to accept all optional categories, reject all optional categories, or select categories. Optional boxes are not pre-selected. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent access to general website content, although a feature that depends on a refused provider may remain unavailable. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
3. Categories
Cookie information covers the technology’s name, provider, purpose, duration, category, and whether it is first-party or third-party. If Cookie Preferences is unavailable, contact us using the details in this policy.
4. Third-party technologies
When you enable a third-party category, your browser may connect directly to that provider. The provider may receive your IP address, device information, referring page, and interaction data and may process it under its own terms and privacy notice. BCE selects and configures providers, enters appropriate processing arrangements where they act for BCE, and limits activation to the consent given. A provider acting for its own purposes is responsible for its independent processing.
5. Managing your choice
Use the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer to review or change a category at any time. The change applies prospectively. It does not automatically remove data already lawfully collected, but BCE and its processors will stop the optional collection controlled by that choice.
You can also restrict cookies through browser settings. Browser deletion may remove the stored preference, in which case the banner may appear again. Blocking strictly necessary storage through the browser may prevent a requested feature from working.
6. Consent records and duration
BCE keeps a limited record of the consent choice, version, time, and device or pseudonymous identifier for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and honour the preference. We ask for a fresh choice when categories or purposes change materially, when consent is no longer valid, or at an appropriate periodic interval.
7. Updates and contact
We update this policy and the Cookie Preferences register when technologies, purposes, or providers change. Questions about the policy or a consent record may be sent to bce@ke.bce.systems.
