Our support
BCE Systems Limited became a signatory to the Women’s Empowerment Principles on 16 June 2021. The Principles are a joint initiative of UN Women and the United Nations Global Compact. BCE’s official signatory record is available on the Women’s Empowerment Principles company profile.
Signing is a commitment to apply the Principles and improve practice. It is not, by itself, certification that every outcome has been achieved.
The seven principles
High-level corporate leadership. Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality.
Fair treatment without discrimination. Treat all women and men fairly at work, respecting and supporting human rights and non-discrimination.
Health, well-being, and safety. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all women and men workers.
Education and training. Promote education, training, and professional development for women.
Enterprise and supply chain. Implement enterprise development, supply-chain, and marketing practices that empower women.
Community and advocacy. Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy.
Measurement and reporting. Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality.
How BCE applies the commitment
BCE applies the Principles through recruitment, technical and leadership development, workplace conduct, site-safety expectations, procurement dialogue, and management review. BCE aims to remove unjustified barriers while preserving genuine competence, security, and regulatory requirements.
BCE reports only lawful, consistently defined, checked measures and does not present commitments as outcomes. It uses programme materials only with the required permission. Questions or good-faith concerns about BCE’s application of the Principles may be sent to bce@bce.systems.
