Our position

BCE Systems Limited is a women-owned Kenyan business and, as at the date of this statement, participates in the Access to Government Procurement Opportunities programme in the women-owned enterprise category.

Ownership is one part of accountability. BCE’s commitment is to fair opportunity, dignity, safety, and non-discrimination in recruitment, employment, professional development, procurement, project delivery, and engagement with customers and communities.

What BCE commits to do

make recruitment and advancement decisions on relevant capability, qualification, conduct, and operational need, using criteria that can be explained and evidenced;

widen women’s access to technical careers and development in BCE’s sectors;

support equal remuneration for work of equal value and review unjustified barriers;

consider reasonable accommodation and accessible participation for people with disabilities;

protect health, dignity, and safety at BCE, customer, field, mission, and secure sites;

prevent and address harassment, retaliation, and unlawful discrimination through fair, confidential reporting;

apply proportionate equality, integrity, and human-rights considerations in supply-chain decisions; and

use evidence and lawful workforce data, where available, to review progress without making unsupported claims.

This commitment supports the Constitution of Kenya, the Employment Act, the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025, the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and the United Nations Global Compact. BCE applies every statutory measure relevant to its workforce and circumstances; this statement does not otherwise guarantee an individual outcome.
